Shui Mak, a 30-year-old woman of Asian descent, tragically lost her life in 1982 as a victim of the notorious 'Ripper Crew,' a group of serial killers operating in Illinois. Shui Mak was abducted on May 29, 1982, from Hanover Park, a village northwest of Villa Park, Illinois. Her body was discovered months later, on September 30, 1982, in northwest Cook County.
