Has anyone else been researching the Wellington Hotel where Nellie Farmer was murdered? It's haunting to think she spent her final days somewhere she should have felt safe. A lot of these old hotels have long histories and sometimes attract the wrong kind of attention. What's so upsetting is how she was living on her own, seemingly independent, yet so vulnerable at the same time. It's a stark reminder of how important community and vigilance are, especially for those whose circumstances might leave them targets. Has anyone come across other incidents at this hotel, or was it an anomaly? My heart goes out to her family and anyone who knew her. It's sad she didn't get the justice she deserved for so long, if at all.
