I've been following Kenyatta Bass's case for some time now, and I keep thinking about how hard it must be for his family each year as the anniversary of his passing comes around. Kansas City has way too many unsolved cases like his, and I can't imagine living in limbo with so few answers. I read that the Cold Case Unit is leveraging advanced forensic techniques these days. Does anyone know if similar advancements have led to breakthroughs in other cases? It makes me hopeful every time there's a mention of how technology might crack the silence, but I can't help but worry about how the lack of physical evidence might still pose a barrier. I truly hope with the community's continued support, we'll eventually see some justice for Kenyatta and others in KC. His family and friends deserve closure.
