Has anyone else looked into the timeline of Jeff Diffee's last movements leading up to his tragic encounter with John Fautenberry? I've been piecing together what we know and it seems like Jeff's routine was pretty consistent. From working at Green Creek Silver Mining to spending time observing wildlife from his apartment overlooking the Mendenhall Glacier, there was such a pattern to his days. It's deeply saddening to think about how his good nature brought him into the path of a monster like Fautenberry. I wonder if Fautenberry had been in Juneau for a while or if it was just a chance encounter. It’s so unsettling that someone so gentle and kind-hearted became a victim. My thoughts are with Jeff's family and friends who must still feel the echoes of this tragedy. If anyone has more insights about those days or the investigation in Juneau, I'd love to hear them.
