Does anyone else find it incredibly disturbing how meticulously Larry Eyler chose the locations to dispose of his victims? It’s like he knew just how to pick spots that would delay discovery, sometimes for months. The fact that Ervin Gibson was found atop a dog's remains adds another layer of horror to an already horrific situation. It makes me think about the investigators who had to process such grim scenes and how difficult it must have been for Ervin’s family to learn those details. Eyler appeared to manipulate geography to hide his true nature, but thankfully, he was eventually caught. Thinking of Ervin’s loved ones and hoping they found some peace from the eventual confession, though nothing can truly ease their pain.
