Has anyone else looked into the community response around Denice Roberts’ tragic death? I’ve been reading up on how her case impacted the Harbor Gateway neighborhood and it's clear that it left a deep scar. It's just so sad to think that neighbors were living in fear, especially knowing the attacker was residing so close. I've seen a couple of articles about local meetings being held back then to address safety concerns and criminal activity in the area. Does anyone know if those efforts led to any long-term changes in that community, or if there was any sort of memorial or ongoing support for Denice’s family? Her story is such a stark reminder of how important it is for communities to come together and support each other in times of crisis. Would love to hear any insights from locals or anyone familiar with what followed after her tragic loss.
