Does anyone else find it chilling how many tragic losses happened around Roberta Elder before people started noticing the pattern? Looking back at Mrs. Callie Elizabeth Davis Brown's sudden passing, it’s unsettling to think how much went unquestioned at the time. She was a presumably healthy woman visiting her daughter, and then to pass away with no clear explanation? My heart goes out to her family who probably had a million questions and little closure.
I can't help but wonder if there were signs or symptoms in these cases that didn’t make sense but were overlooked. The fact that no further investigation into Mrs. Brown’s death was conducted, especially after the later discoveries, raises so many questions. It makes me think of the families who entrusted their loved ones to Roberta’s care, only to face unexplainable losses. How many whispers and doubts must linger with them even now? It emphasizes the importance of looking deeper into suspicious deaths, however small or coincidental they seem at first.
Has anyone else been pondering the lack of investigation into Mrs. Callie Elizabeth Davis Brown's death? It's so unsettling to think about. It's understandable that back in 1945, without modern forensic tools, her death might've been missed as suspicious. Still, knowing what we know now about Roberta Elder's history, you can't help but wonder. Was there ever any discussion on why Callie's body wasn't exhumed after the Revelations about Roberta? It's tragic for the family to have this cloud of uncertainty. Anyone else feel that frustration over unexplored possibilities or have additional insights on how cases like these were handled back then?
