I came across an interesting detail about the Kelly Drew and Tim Hack case that made me stop and think. I was reading about the wedding venue, the Concord House, and it struck me how small details from that night could have played a crucial role. For instance, Tim's car being found locked with his wallet inside—what does that say about their state of mind when they left the venue? Was there someone they knew who might have convinced them to step outside, leaving everything behind? It's puzzling why a venue like the Concord House didn't have better security or lighting in the parking lot, especially given the number of guests that night. Was anything on that particular night mentioned during the investigation about if the place had surveillance or someone who may have seen them last? It makes me wonder if missing those basics back in 1980 contributed to the delay in solving this tragic case. I can't imagine the pain and frustration the families must've felt, knowing their loved ones vanished seemingly without a trace. Thank goodness for modern forensics eventually leading to some answers, even if the closure came far too late. My heart goes out to those close to Kelly and Tim for the decades of uncertainty they endured.
