Does anyone else find the seven-year delay in discovering the victims' bodies truly baffling? It's just crushing to think about Grace, Candice, and little Joshua being gone for so long without anyone knowing where they were. It breaks my heart that their families had to endure that uncertainty and anguish for years. I can't even begin to imagine what it must have been like for them to finally learn the truth after so much time had passed. The fact that Durocher eventually confessed and even provided a map does make me wonder about his state of mind. Why keep it hidden for all those years and then suddenly admit it? It’s like, why not give those families some peace sooner? It's a stark reminder of how cruelly and complexly the human mind can work, and how devastating the patience for justice can sometimes be. Hoping that the families can somehow find comfort even after all these years. This case really proves how vital it is to never give up on seeking truth, no matter how much time has gone by. Would love to hear everyone’s thoughts about these years of waiting and the impact on the families.

I've been reading through old case files, and the tragic story of Joshua Durocher keeps haunting me. I can't help but think about how his innocent life was cut short before it even began. As a parent myself, it's gut-wrenching to imagine the deep void felt by the remaining family members and friends of the victims. Little Joshua didn't even get a chance to experience life, and knowing he was buried in an unmarked grave for years only adds to the tragedy. What really strikes me is the apparent lack of concern for minimizing his own son's suffering. How could someone do this to their own child? While Michael Durocher's execution might have provided justice, it definitely can't undo the damage left behind. I can't imagine the pain Joshua's family went through, not only losing him but also realizing the person responsible was someone they trusted. My heart goes out to anyone who had to navigate the aftermath of such a cruel act. It tears me up thinking about all the might-have-beens for Joshua and his mother, Grace.
