I've been following the Groene family tragedy for a while, and one detail that sticks with me is the community's role throughout this ordeal. In cases like these, it's easy to feel overwhelmed by the sheer evil of it all, but seeing how the community rallied around Shasta and the surviving family members gives me a lot of hope. Residents came together to support each other in ways big and small—from organizing vigils to providing emotional and financial support. It’s a reminder that even in the darkest times, a close-knit community can be a beacon of strength and solace. Being there for one another in any way we can helps shine a little light in the shadow of such horrific events. My heart goes out to them all. Has anyone else noticed how supportive the community has been, or have any stories to share about what stood out to you during this time?
