Anyone else thinking about the bravery it must have taken for Hector and the others to stand up to their attackers? In a situation like that, most people might just do whatever it takes to save themselves, but it seems like Hector and his friends were either unable or unwilling to comply with these dangerous demands, which may have ultimately cost them their lives. It makes you wonder what was going through their minds in those final moments. Were they protecting someone? Did they think that non-cooperation could perhaps change the outcome? It's haunting to think that the decision to stand firm could lead to such drastic consequences. My heart goes out to their families, who must still be grappling with the loss and wondering if things could have turned out differently.

Hey everyone, I was reading more about the tragic case of Hector Hernandez and the others who were killed back in '86. It's just so saddening to think about how the aftermath must have affected their families. I find myself wondering about the building where it all happened. Does anyone know if it was a known spot for illicit activities, or was it just a random place they happened to be at that tragic night? Places with such dark pasts often have stories that linger for years after the crimes. I hope that the investigation over the years has given some peace to the families, but I can't imagine the pain of knowing their loved ones' last moments were filled with terror. Truly hoping those responsible have been brought to justice and can never inflict such pain again. Would love to hear if anyone has come across more info about the location or its background. Thanks.
