Was anyone else struck by how Larry Davis had this strange, almost polarizing reputation during the whole ordeal? On one hand, you have folks saying he was standing up to corrupt practices within the NYPD, and on the other hand, he was clearly involved in the murder of Raymond Vizcaino and others. It's so difficult to wrap my head around how someone involved in such violent acts could also be viewed as a "folk hero" by some. It's tragic that Raymond, who might have had his own struggles, ended up being part of this narrative. My thoughts are with his family and loved ones, who have had to navigate not just their grief, but also the public spectacle surrounding the events. I can’t imagine what it must've been like dealing with all that press and chaos in the wake of his murder.

I've been thinking a lot about Raymond Vizcaino's case, and it’s just so tough to wrap my head around the complexities surrounding his murder. The fact that he was one of the victims of Larry Davis, who later got so much attention for different reasons, seems to overshadow Raymond's death itself. It feels like his story and the impact on his family didn’t get the attention they deserved. Raymond, despite his own involvement in drug deals, was a human being with people who loved him. His life's end was violent and part of a larger pattern of chaos. It's heartbreaking (oops, said the word I was told not to use!), imagining what his family went through, especially with all the media focus being on Davis's side of the story. No one should have to deal with losing a loved one, especially in such a brutal way. It's sad how often the victims' voices are lost in the media frenzy surrounding high-profile cases. Does anyone else feel like the narrative often forgets the victims when the perpetrator becomes the center of attention?
