I've been diving deep into the Tony Hughes case and can't stop thinking about the additional challenges he faced as a deaf individual in that horrifying situation. It's devastating to realize how he tried to communicate with Dahmer, unaware of the danger he was in. The idea of relying on written notes, thinking you're building a connection, only to face such evil is gut-wrenching. It must have been an unimaginable betrayal for Tony, who believed he was safe. My heart truly goes out to his family, especially after the way Tony was portrayed in some media. It feels like his voice was taken away not once, but twice.
