Sometimes it's simply the small details that intrigue me the most. In Stephanie's case, I've been really puzzled by the note she left for her neighbor - something about its wording seems carefully chosen, even under potential stress. "Please check in on my kids. I had an emergency." It's so brief yet thoughtful, almost as if she knew she had to ensure someone would look after her children, but it lacks any indication of panic.
I wonder if Stephanie left to meet someone familiar or trusted enough that she didn't anticipate anything going wrong. But then again, could the emergency have been a ruse from someone who wanted to lure her away? My heart goes out to her family, who have had to endure this long-lasting uncertainty for so many years. It's unimaginable not knowing what truly happened.
Was it possible she met someone on the way? Or maybe someone approached her with this alleged emergency that needed some kind of urgent attention? I really hope new eyes or fresh information can bring clarity to this baffling situation. Thoughts?
