I’ve been following Sherry Armstrong's case for a while now, and something has always stood out to me: why have Clifton Cousins' confessions not led to more thorough investigations? It's mind-boggling that despite him mentioning specific details not publicly known, there hasn't been any concrete legal action. ? I can only imagine how frustrating this must be for Sherry’s family, knowing there’s someone who claims responsibility, yet no closure is in sight. Isn't it worth re-examining his claims with today's forensic advancements? Also, I’ve read that access to case files has been difficult. Does anyone know if there’s been any recent progress in getting Newport police to release more information? I wonder if there's been any new advocacy around this. For Sherry and her loved ones, I hope there's renewed interest and effort from the authorities because they deserve answers.
