Hey everyone,
I’ve been thinking a lot about the location where Lorraine’s body was discovered. The hiking trail near the old Camp Bluefields water tower is such a secluded and eerie spot, especially back in 1970. It's chilling to think about how her life ended there, and I can't help but wonder if her murderer knew the area well enough to think it would be a quiet place to hide her.
It's such a shame that this beautiful place where people go to enjoy nature was marred by such an awful event. I feel so deeply for her family. It just seems so unfair that it took so long to find out what happened to her, though I’m glad they finally have some answers now. Imagine her loved ones living with so many questions for decades. Such a tragedy for everyone involved, including the community.
I'd love to hear if anyone has more insight or thoughts on how this location might have been chosen back then.
Hey everyone,
I've been following Lorraine Ann Montalvo McGraw's case, and one thing that has been on my mind is how advanced forensic techniques can change everything. It fascinates me how with the help of forensic historian Peter Vronsky and Jennifer Weiss, they finally connected the dots leading to Richard Cottingham's confession. It makes me wonder how many other cold cases could be solved with similar dedication and the right forensic technology.
Even after so many years, it's amazing how the power of science and unyielding determination can bring justice to victims like Lorraine. I can't imagine the rollercoaster Lorraine's family went through for all those decades without answers. Kudos to the team for their relentless pursuit and for giving Lorraine’s family a sense of peace at last. What are your thoughts on how technology plays a role in solving these older cases?
Looking forward to everyone’s insights!
Stay safe.
