Hey everyone, I've been really diving into the details of the Juan Corona case, and there's something about Edward Martin Cupp that's sticking with me. It's just so tough to think about how vulnerable these men were, including Edward. From what I gathered, Edward was just trying to make a living in those orchards like so many others, but he was caught up in this terrible series of events. What really gets me is how easily Corona was able to prey on these men. I read somewhere that many of them, like Cupp, were just trying to find work and probably didn't have many people around looking out for them. It's incredibly sad to see how someone could take advantage of that kind of isolation and desperation. My heart goes out to Edward's family and all the victim's loved ones who had their lives forever changed by this tragedy. ? Do you guys think there's anything more that could have been done at the time to protect these workers, given how they lived on the fringes of society? I'd love to hear your thoughts on how communities can be more vigilant in protecting such vulnerable populations. Stay safe out there.
