Hey everyone,
I was thinking about the emotional aftermath for the families affected by the Houston Mass Murders, especially Frank Aguirre’s loved ones. It’s unimaginable how they handled the revelation that he was one of Corll’s victims. Finding some sense of closure must have been incredibly complex and heart-wrenching for them. They were in the dark for so long, not knowing what happened, and then to hear such horrific details—it’s beyond comprehension.
I wonder what kind of support systems were in place back then for families like Frank's to help them cope with such a traumatic ordeal. Did they have any access to counseling or community support groups? If anyone has insights or stories about how communities dealt with the aftermath of such tragedies during that era, I’d be interested to hear. Their resilience in the face of so much pain is truly remarkable.
