It's just devastating to think that her kindness and potential were stolen in such a violent way. What stands out to me is that she was just out celebrating with her best friend—a normal night for any teenager. This makes me reflect on how we often take these everyday moments for granted. My heart goes out to Elisa's family and friends who have had to carry this with them. I'm hoping her community can find some peace and continue to remember and honor the wonderful person she was.
