I'm curious about the angle regarding the FBI Crime Lab's involvement in this case, especially since it's so bizarre how evidence can be tampered with in serious investigations like Stephanie's. It's infuriating to think that Steph's family had to endure even more pain knowing that some of the evidence presented might have been falsified. What would prompt someone to alter evidence? It just seems unimaginable and adds another layer of injustice to an already tragic situation. I'm glad that Stephanie's family received some closure eventually, but the entire process must have been so unimaginably difficult for them.
