I’ve been thinking about the psychological impact this case must have had on Michael Lee and Travis Rowley. Imagine being so young and falsely accused of such a heinous crime, facing the death penalty, all while knowing you're innocent. It's terrifying to realize how a coerced confession and lack of physical evidence can still lead to over a year of imprisonment and the looming threat of death row. It's great that they were eventually exonerated, but the trauma and lost time are irreplaceable. I really hope they’ve found some peace and healing after such a devastating ordeal. It truly showcases the importance of due process and thorough investigation to prevent such miscarriages of justice from happening again. Has anyone heard updates on how they're doing these days?
