Has anyone else been digging into the background of Danny Lee Barber? It's utterly mind-boggling to think about how many lives he devastated in those few short years. I can't shake the thought that there might have been something in his past that pushed him towards such violence. But maybe that's just my way of trying to make sense of something senseless. It's reassuring, in a way, that Mercedes Mendez's family found some resolution eventually, but I can't imagine the pain they must have endured during that year the case went cold. It's like a constant reminder of how precious and fragile life is. Sending thoughts to all the families affected by Barber's actions. If anyone has info on how he was finally linked to the other murders, I'd love to learn more about it.
