Hey everyone, I wanted to take a moment to talk about something that’s been on my mind regarding the tragic triple homicide involving Ann Orr Morris. Beyond the overwhelming loss, what truly haunts me is the thought of Ann's incredible talent and how it was stolen from the world so abruptly. As many know, she was such a respected silversmith and enamelist, and it's just devastating to think of all the beautiful creations that we’ll now never see. I recently read about the exhibition held at the Georgia Museum of Art, and while it’s a lovely tribute, it’s bittersweet. Her artistry left a permanent mark on the field, and I hope more people hear about her work despite the circumstances of her passing. The memorial fund in her name to support visiting artists is such a wonderful initiative, and it feels like a way for her legacy to continue inspiring new artists. Thinking of Ann, Sally, and Helen's friends and family during this difficult time. This community will always remember them. Stay kind, [Username]
