I've been following Debra Sloan's case for quite some time, and something I've always found intriguing is the role technology played in finally bringing John Annibel to justice. Back in the late '90s, forensic techniques weren't as advanced as they are today. It's incredible to think that advances in DNA testing and crime scene analysis in the early 2000s were key in nailing Annibel. Imagine how much harder it must have been for Debra's family during those years of uncertainty, waiting and hoping for answers. I can't help but admire the tenacity of the investigators who kept pushing forward, despite limited technology and resources. They demonstrated the power of persistence and modern science in seeking justice for the victims. My thoughts are with Debra's family, who had to endure such a prolonged ordeal. It’s a reminder of how crucial it is to support innovations in investigative techniques, as they can make a difference in solving cold cases.
