Does anyone else find it odd how John Arthur Ackroyd was able to cover his tracks for so many years? I recently started reading up on this case, and it's chilling to think about how he managed to evade capture, especially with the suspicions surrounding him after Kaye Turner's disappearance. It seems like the system really failed to connect the dots sooner. I can't imagine the frustration Kaye's family must have felt knowing there was a suspect, but no justice in sight for over a decade. All those years of waiting and wondering... it's just awful. I genuinely hope the advances in forensic technology can continue to bring closure to families like hers, who have had to endure such prolonged uncertainty. And as for the other potential victims linked to Ackroyd, their loved ones deserve answers too. It's a heavy reminder of how crucial determination and updated investigative techniques are in solving these tragic cases.
