Has anyone else been struck by the impact Brandon Garner's case has on his community? It’s been 15 years since he was found, and the silence surrounding any leads is just unsettling. Brandon was only 24, with a whole life ahead of him, and it’s distressing to think that his family and friends are still waiting for answers. What’s worse is that his case is one of many that have gone unresolved in Kansas City. It feels like there’s a shared pain among families who have lost loved ones and are caught in this loop of grief without justice. I hope that somehow, someday, someone with information will come forward. His loved ones deserve that peace of mind, and the community needs hope of resolution. Has anyone here ever attended a funeral at the Haven of Rest Baptist Church in Kansas City? I recently came across the unsolved case of Brandon J. Garner, who was laid to rest there after his tragic death in 2008. It made me think about how these community spaces hold such important roles in times of grief.
