Hi everyone,
I've been digging into Raul Pete Arevalo's case recently, and something that's been puzzling to me is the discovery location of his wallet. It's really odd that it was found 12 miles west of Sonora when his body was located 1.4 miles east. Could this mean he tried escaping in the opposite direction initially? Or maybe it was intentionally planted there to mislead investigators? It seems like a crucial detail that could potentially reveal more about what happened that night.
Also, this case got me thinking about procedures back in the '50s. I wonder what forensic techniques, if any, were used at the time and how they might differ from today's standards. Was the vehicle checked thoroughly for fingerprints or any signs of struggle? Keeping in mind the limitations of the era, many times important traces could have been overlooked.
My heart goes out to his family, who has endured so many years without answers. Let's keep discussing and hope eventually more light will be shed on what happened. All insights are valuable.
Stay safe, everyone.
