I've been reading through old case files and I came across the tragic story of Robert Brand and his friends. It's truly devastating what happened to them. I couldn't stop thinking about the courage it must have taken for these young individuals as they found themselves in such a terrifying situation. Robert was just a teenager, and yet he had to face something unimaginable. This whole case really puts into perspective how random and cruel these acts of violence can be. It's also chilling to think that someone like Kenneth Allen McDuff could be on the streets for so long. I hope the advancements in law enforcement since then can prevent such tragedies in the future. My thoughts go out to the families who had to endure this nightmare.

I've been thinking a lot about Marcus Dunnam, Robert's cousin, who was also a victim in this horrific crime. It's devastating to consider what might have been going through his mind during those final moments. From what I understand, Marcus was known to be a protective and caring person, especially towards his friends and family. It's so tragic to think of how he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, and how his life was cut short along with Robert and Louise. I've read that the Dunnam family was heavily involved in the community; it's so sad how their lives were forever changed by this senseless act of violence. It's important to remember each of these young lives and keep their memories alive. Does anyone know if there have been any local memorials or tributes set up in their honor?

I just came across the case of Robert Brand, Louise Sullivan, and Marcus Dunnam while researching infamous crimes in Texas, and I can't get over how terrifying it must have been for them. I read that they were just hanging out at a baseball field—something that should've been so normal and safe. It breaks my heart thinking about what their families went through, especially with Robert being just 17 and supposedly full of life and potential. Does anyone know if their families ever spoke publicly about how this affected them or the community of Everman after everything went down? It's so important that cases like these remind us of the loved ones left to pick up the pieces. Sending my thoughts to anyone who remembers them.
