I've been reading more about the friends and family of the victims, and it just breaks my heart when I think about Homer Luis Garcia. From everything I've come across, it seems he was a kind-hearted and gentle soul with his whole life ahead of him. It’s terrifying to think about the trust these kids placed in people like Henley and Brooks, only to be betrayed in the worst way possible. My thoughts go out to Homer's family and the other victims' families who had to endure such profound loss. The resiliency they've shown in the face of this tragedy is nothing short of inspiring. I genuinely hope they’ve found some peace over the years, though I can’t imagine the sorrow ever fully fades.
