I’ve been thinking a lot about the various leads that might have been missed in Beth’s case back in '82. It’s crazy how small details can really change the course of an investigation. I’m trying to wrap my head around how Teresa might have felt afterward. Imagine realizing your own father was somehow involved with something this horrific. The burden of suspicion must have been unbearable for her, especially after being asked to dispose of the guns. It makes me wonder how many more secrets she might have unknowingly concealed. I hope the reopening of the case brought her some ability to move forward, despite everything. I can't even begin to fathom how hard that must have been for everyone who knew Beth and her family. Sending love to Axtell.
