Does anyone know if there was ever any sort of memorial or fundraiser set up for Eddie Ulrich's family or the other victims from the Grand Prairie shooting in 1982? I can't even begin to imagine the pain his loved ones must have gone through. It's so crucial that the families of victims like Eddie have community support, both emotionally and financially. Sometimes in these cases, people come together to help with funeral costs or memorial services, but I haven't seen any information about that for Eddie and the others affected. If anyone has any details or remembers something from back then, it would be great to hear more about how the community tried to support them, if at all.

I recently came across the tragic story of Eddie Ulrich and the 1982 Grand Prairie shooting. I'm really trying to understand the dynamics between Parish and his employers at Western Transfer Company. It's clear Parish felt mistreated, but it's hard for me to grasp how things escalated to such a degree. Eddie was just doing his job, and I can't imagine the fear and confusion in that building as things unfolded. Has anyone come across any insights or testimonies from other employees about the atmosphere or issues at Western Transfer around that time? It seems like there might have been underlying tensions, but it's heartbreaking to see such unresolved disputes ending so violently. Thinking of Eddie’s family and the other affected families during what must still be a difficult time even after all these years.
