It's devastating to think about Officer Ronald Dale Baker's last moments and the courage he must have shown in the face of such a brutal attack. What used to be a routine part of his job turned into a nightmare scenario. The details of what happened are just horrifying, and it makes you reflect on the sheer unpredictability of what our officers face daily. My heart goes out to his family, especially his wife who was expecting at that time. I can't imagine the void they must feel even after all these years. It’s a sad reminder that these officers put everything on the line each time they step out in the name of public safety. Anyone here have more information on how the police department supports officers' families after such a tragedy?
