Has anyone ever looked into the possibility of Mark using public transportation to leave Waco? Given that he was familiar with bus routes, it's conceivable he might have hopped on a bus without being noticed. I know it's been a while since he was last seen, but maybe checking records for any unclaimed bus tickets around the time of his disappearance could offer some clues? Or maybe someone on a local route remembers seeing him? It's just a thought, considering how social he was.
Hi everyone,
Has anyone else looked into the public transportation angle in Mark Leland Kirks' disappearance? Given that he was familiar with using buses and other forms of transit, it seems like a possible lead that might have been overlooked. It's concerning that with his mental health conditions, he could have easily become confused or disoriented while using public transport. Does anyone know if the local bus or train stations were thoroughly checked at the time? Or if they had security footage that might provide any leads? I feel like this could be a crucial piece of the puzzle, especially since it was right before the holiday season, and transit hubs would have been particularly busy. Just a thought - every bit of information helps, right?
Stay safe, everyone.
I’ve been following Mark Leland Kirks’ disappearance, and something that truly stands out to me is the fact that he was able to walk 40 miles all the way to his family’s home in Whitney on a previous occasion. That’s a significant distance, especially for someone dealing with mental illness and developmental disabilities. It makes me wonder how familiar he might have been with the route he took last time and whether he could have attempted to walk back there again, despite the cold weather and lack of medication.
Does anyone know if there have been any focused searches along potential walking routes between Waco and Whitney? With his history of wandering, it seems like it’d be worth re-examining those paths. Also, did he have any specific friends or acquaintances along the way who might have seen him around that time? Any insights or theories would be helpful in keeping Mark’s case from going cold.
