Hey everyone, I've been diving deep into the Kandy Kirtland case recently, and something that's been gnawing at me is the location where her body was found. It's grim, but knowing her body was left near a creek makes me wonder if that's a significant spot for the murderer or just an opportunistic location. Did anyone from Bryan back in the day know if this area was frequently visited or considered secluded? Also, it's chilling to think about how investigators had to piece together this disturbing puzzle under such emotional circumstances. I'm hoping her family found some measure of peace knowing her killer was eventually brought to justice. Anyone else have thoughts on why this particular spot might have been chosen? ?️♂️

Does anyone else find it chilling how calculated Earhart seemed in targeting Kandy? The fact that authorities found a piece of paper with her home address at his place sends shivers down my spine. It's like he meticulously planned everything. It makes me wonder if he was watching her for a while before the abduction. I can't even imagine the terror Kandy must have felt. My heart goes out to her family, who must have been haunted by the idea that someone had them under surveillance. It really highlights the need for communities to watch out for unusual behavior and support each other in keeping our kids safe.

Does anyone else find it odd how Earhart tried to buy a paint gun from the Kirtlands just the day before Kandy's abduction? It makes me wonder if it was just a tactic to get close to the family or to scope out the area. It feels chilling to think he might have been planning this for a while. The fact that he had their address in his possession is beyond creepy. My heart goes out to Kandy's family; they lived so close to someone capable of such harm. It’s a sobering reminder for all of us to be cautious about who we let into our lives. Thoughts?
