I've been thinking about how brave Officer Fabian Dominguez was that night. It's hard to wrap my mind around the split-second decisions he had to make. Imagine returning home from a long day at work, exhausted, wanting nothing more than to relax with your family, and then having to put yourself in harm's way in your own neighborhood. Such a stark reminder of how unpredictable and dangerous life can be for those in law enforcement. My heart goes out to his wife and daughters. Growing up without a father because he was protecting his community is such a heavy burden for a family to carry. Reminds me of how important it is to support and uplift our officers' families who bear so much of that weight. Forever grateful for his bravery and sacrifice.
