Hi everyone, I've been reading through the different threads about the Walter Rossler Co. tragedy, and I couldn't help but think about Wendy Gilmore. Not much is discussed about her, but from what I've gathered, she was a kind soul with a bright future ahead of her. It seems like she was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, caught up in a situation that makes no sense. I can't imagine the pain her friends and family must feel, losing someone so unexpectedly. It's scary to think how quickly life can change in an instant. I hope that sharing stories and memories of Wendy helps keep her spirit alive and offers some comfort to those who knew and loved her. If anyone has more details or memories to share about Wendy, I think it would be nice to celebrate her life amidst this tragedy. It's important we remember her beyond being a victim, but for who she truly was as a person. Stay safe, everyone.

Has anyone else been thinking about the eerie timing of the Walter Rossler Co. shooting happening so soon after Selena's murder? It's like the entire city of Corpus Christi was reeling from unimaginable tragedies back-to-back. Derek Harrison's death, along with the others, was such a senseless loss. Knowing that the shooter left the company seven months before the incident leaves so much speculation about what triggered his return with such violent intent. It’s haunting to think a community could suffer like this twice in such a short span of time. My heart truly goes out to the families who had to navigate that period of despair. Does anyone else have any insights or theories about James Simpson's actions? It's just baffling that there was never any clear explanation.

I've been thinking a lot about the Walter Rossler Co. shooting lately, especially about how it impacted the families of the victims. I can't even begin to imagine the kind of devastation they must have felt then and how it continues to haunt them. It's hard to grasp that a regular day at work could end in such unimaginable tragedy. I've read that Derek Harrison was described by colleagues as dedicated and kind-hearted. From what I gather, he was respected and well-liked, which makes this loss even more senseless. It’s so frustrating that we still don’t have answers about why this happened. The community's support would have been crucial back then, and I hope it continues even today. To anyone who might have known him or the other victims: I’m sending you strength and peace. Your loved ones are not forgotten.
