I’ve been thinking a lot about Ezekiel "Chico" Barraza and the night of May 3, 1999. It’s so disheartening to know that Chico was just out enjoying a night at the Cowboy Cats Club, an ordinary thing we all do, and it ended in such a tragedy. What doesn’t sit right with me is the transition from the Cowboy Cats Club to the El Conejas Club parking lot where his body was found. The distance isn’t that far, but something feels off about how and why he ended up there. Was he meeting someone, or did an encounter at Cowboy Cats spill over to the parking lot? I really hope anyone who was in that area that night, especially around those two clubs, comes forward if they remember even the smallest detail. Thinking of Chico’s family and friends who still don’t have answers, hoping justice is around the corner. If anyone is from Fort Worth or remembers that time, let’s keep the discussion going. Maybe we can help bring some closure.

Has anyone looked into whether Chico knew anybody at the El Conejas Club? It seems strange that he ended up there after being at the Cowboy Cats Club earlier that night. Maybe he was meeting someone, or there was a connection between people at both clubs? It's such a senseless loss and so tragic for his family to not have answers all these years later. Often, in cases like these, the smallest details can be the key to finding justice. My thoughts are with Chico's loved ones who must be hoping for any development after all this time.

Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about Chico’s case and something that's really been bugging me is the lack of surveillance footage from that night. It was 1999, so maybe cameras weren't everywhere like they are today, but I can't help wondering if some nearby business or even traffic cams caught something. Has anyone heard whether this angle was ever explored by the investigators? Maybe time has faded those details, or they never mentioned it publicly. It's so upsetting to imagine how Chico’s family might feel, still waiting for answers and justice all these years later. I really hope that someone out there remembers something or maybe technology advancement might shed some light on this cold case. Do you think there’s any possibility the Fort Worth Police might reopen the case with a new perspective and possibly use newer tech to dig deeper? Any thoughts are much appreciated. Stay safe, everyone.
