Wow, I just can't stop thinking about how brave Jose Ricardo must have been. Imagine planning to walk all that way and then going missing in the desert. It's like something out of a survival story gone wrong. Has anyone heard about any kind of search effort that was organized for him and the other person left behind? It just seems like such a challenging environment to cover, especially if so much time passed before anyone knew they were missing. I hope someone who knows more about the area or the conditions they might have faced can jump in with some info. Keeping tabs on this one; I hope more comes to light soon.
