I’ve been following the Garland tragedy closely, and something really sticks with me—the courageous response from the first responders. Arriving to such chaos and being greeted with gunfire is unimaginable. Their ability to stay calm and prioritize the safety of those two small children is beyond commendable. My heart goes out to the families involved, especially considering the profound loss they’re experiencing. It’s harrowing to think of those kids witnessing such violence, and I’m relieved they’re now with extended family who can hopefully provide them with some stability and love in such a tumultuous time. I’m holding a lot of hope that the ongoing investigation will bring about some semblance of justice and peace for them.
