Hey all, I've been thinking a lot about the impact that the McKinney quadruple murder had on the local community, and I can't help but feel for Mark Barbosa's family. Imagine being his parents and dealing not only with your sister's tragic loss but then losing your son in the same horrific event. It's unimaginable. They must have been heartbroken by the loss of such a young and talented guy, especially since Mark was just trying to live his life and work hard as a carpenter. The fact that his life was cut short in such a senseless manner is beyond tragic. I hope that, by sharing stories about these incredible young lives, we can keep their memories alive and support the initiatives started by their families. It's important to continue talking about them, not just as victims, but as people who were loved deeply.
