Has anyone else looked into the cultural aspect of this case? It's so devastating on multiple levels. I've been thinking about how Ziba was of Iranian descent, and I wonder if there were any cultural dynamics at play that might have influenced the situation. Not that it changes what happened, but understanding the full context might help in some way. It breaks my heart thinking about those poor kids having to run next door for help. They had to grow up so fast in an instant. It's an awful reminder of the broader issue of domestic violence and how crucial it is that we reach out to those who seem isolated or in trouble. I hope the community and authorities have been able to offer the children support and that they’ve found some way to heal after such an unimaginable experience. Would appreciate any insight or thoughts on how the community can do better in recognizing and addressing these issues before they lead to such tragic outcomes.
