Has anyone looked into the role Jay Feltner might have played in the close-knit community of Jonestown? From what I've been able to gather, he was not only a supervisor at Texas Cut Stone but also a well-respected member of the area. It seems he was known for helping out whenever he could, and it's a shame that someone who positively impacted his community was taken in such a senseless crime. Whether it was through work or social gatherings, I can only imagine how many lives he touched. My heart goes out to his friends and family who have had to cope with this loss for so many years. It's incredibly unjust that his story, like the others, ended too soon due to Devoe's actions. Hopefully, these memories they have of Jay bring some comfort amidst the pain.
I was reading up on the Paul Devoe case and couldn't help but feel deeply for the families involved, especially Jay Feltner's. I stumbled on a detail about Jay's life — he was a supervisor at Texas Cut Stone in Liberty Hill. It got me thinking about how he must have interacted with so many people in his daily life, colleagues who likely looked up to him and relied on his guidance. It's a reminder of how these violent acts ripple through entire communities, touching the lives of everyone who knew and cared about the victims. It must be incredibly difficult for his former coworkers as they return to the workplace without his presence. Just another way these tragedies leave an indelible mark on the world, affecting so many more people than we might initially realize. My thoughts are with Jay's loved ones and everyone dealing with the loss.
