I’ve been thinking about the location of the Mi Hungry food stand where Michael was tragically killed. It sounds like a spot that was pretty well-known in the neighborhood. Does anyone have any insights into whether there were security cameras in the area around that time? I know it was 2009, but I wonder if any footage might have been available from nearby businesses or even traffic cameras that could have captured the Pontiac or its license plate? It's been so many years, and my heart goes out to Michael's family who must still be seeking answers. It seems like gathering any new clues, no matter how small, could really make a difference. If anyone remembers any details from around the neighborhood during that time, please consider sharing. Michael and his family deserve justice.
Hey everyone,
I've been following the case of Michael Goulbourne, and something that's been on my mind is how this tragedy has impacted his school community. Michael was just 14 and seemed like such a bright and active student, being involved in his school's band, Safety Patrol, and track team.
I can't help but think about Normandy Middle School and how the staff and students might be coping. These young kids have lost a friend, a teammate, and I imagine the teachers are struggling too. How does a community heal from something like this? It's important we keep talking about these issues and support the youth who face such harsh realities.
Does anyone know if the school has held any events or dedications in his memory? Or if there are programs in place to help the students process this awful loss? I'd love to hear if there are ways people have been able to show support to his classmates and friends.
My condolences to Michael’s family and everyone who knew him. Such a loss at a young age is devastating and I really hope justice is served.
Stay safe out there, folks.
