I've been thinking a lot about the First Presbyterian Church community in San Antonio and how they must be coping after losing three cherished members in such a sudden and violent way. Janet and Charles were deeply involved in church activities, and from what I understand, they formed strong bonds with so many people there over the years. I can't imagine the pain their church friends are feeling right now. It’s so important for the community to come together and support each other in times like this. If any fellow members are reading this, remember to lean on each other and seek solace in your shared memories of happier times with Janet, Charles, and Chip. Sending all my love and strength to you all.
Has anyone else been reflecting on how difficult it must have been for Janet Tribolet and her family before the tragedy? Living in such a close-knit community like Monte Vista, it’s heart-wrenching to think about the stress and fear they might have experienced at home, hidden beneath a façade of respectability. With Charles having made threats previously and authorities being involved, I can't help but wonder if there were any overlooked signs or cries for help. It’s unimaginable to try and wrap your head around such a loss; the community has lost such a warm and vibrant spirit in Janet. My thoughts are with those who knew her and Chip and who undoubtedly continue to carry the weight of this tragedy.
