I was thinking about the impact this tragedy has had on the community of Terrell, especially with the loss of Mary Catherine Brownlow and the other victims. It must have been incredibly difficult for the families and friends trying to piece their lives back together after something so unimaginable. I’ve read about the vigils and memorials held in their honor, and it’s heartwarming to see people come together to support one another in such a dark time. It seems like the town really pulled together to try to find some sense of healing and solidarity. Has anyone here been to one of those memorial services or vigil events? I imagine they were very emotional but also a place where people could start to find a glimmer of peace. Would love to hear from anyone who has been involved in these community efforts.
