Does anyone else feel frustrated with how Krystal's case was handled? It's truly mind-boggling that Jesse Perales managed to secure a plea deal despite the severity of his crimes. I can't even begin to imagine the pain Krystal endured, and it feels like this deal doesn't acknowledge the true extent of her suffering. Krystal had the courage to reach out for help from a shelter, which proves how desperate her situation was, yet the justice system seemed to let her and her family down. We need to remember Krystal's story and push for better protections and justice for victims of domestic violence. Her strength and love for her children should inspire us all to advocate for change. What do you all think needs to happen to prevent plea deals in such severe cases?
