I’ve been thinking a lot about the impact of Demarcus Harrison’s murder, not just on his family, but on the whole community around that apartment complex on Belarbor Street. It's devastating to consider how the actions of a few individuals changed so many lives on that day. I'm particularly saddened for Demarcus’s loved ones who have to navigate life without him. Each life affected echoes through the community, touching friends, family, and neighbors. I can’t imagine the fear and chaos present during and after the incident, especially with Anthony’s father supposedly driving a car into a crowd. Even though no one was hurt by the car, that added level of violence must have been terrifying. It really makes you wonder how many signs of escalating tension were missed or ignored. Sending thoughts of peace and healing to everyone affected by this tragic event. ?️
