Does anyone else find it odd that Andrew left behind his cell phone but took his laptop and camera? I mean, in 2010, I would think a cell phone would be one of those items you automatically grab when heading out, especially if he's saying he's going to a friend's place and would be attending college classes. Maybe there’s a reason he didn’t want to be contacted or tracked? Or perhaps he was planning to reach out in a more secure way using his laptop? Just speculating here, but it seems like such an intentional move. Anyone familiar with how tech-savvy Andrew was, or if there were any reasons he might have avoided using his phone? This part of the situation really puzzles me and could be a key aspect of what happened.

The missing items and the note Andrew left behind really make me curious. A driver's license, camera, laptop, skateboard, and contact lenses seem like essential items, but why leave the car, wallet, and cell phone? It makes me question whether he truly intended to stay at a friend's house or if he had other plans he didn't want anyone to know about. I'm also wondering if the contact lenses have any importance. Could they be for his usual routine, or was there something more behind taking them specifically? It's the little details in these cases that sometimes hold the biggest mysteries. Has anyone else dug deep into what those personal items might suggest about where he was headed or what he was planning?

I've been following Andrew James Torii's case for a while now, and something that's been on my mind is why he left his cell phone behind. It seems unusual for a 20-year-old in 2010 to leave without such an essential item, especially if he was planning to meet up with friends or head to college classes. Could it have been intentional to avoid being tracked, or maybe he left in a hurry and forgot it? I wonder if there was any significant activity on his phone before he disappeared. Maybe someone close to him knows more about why he might have chosen to leave it at home. Was there any mention of possible issues with friends or something else that could have influenced this decision?
