Hi everyone,
I’ve been following Aarshiya and Jiaa Patil’s case since it surfaced, and something that puzzles me is the international aspect of these family abductions. It’s been nearly 13 years since they were taken, and I can’t help but wonder about the challenges law enforcement faces when a case crosses national borders. Despite efforts, it seems so difficult to collaborate internationally, especially considering different legal systems and resources.
Does anyone have insights into how these cases are handled when children are taken to another country? I’ve heard that India’s participation in international child abduction treaties is a bit complex. If anyone's familiar with similar cases or has expertise in this area, I’d love to hear your thoughts on why these cases seem so difficult to resolve and what might be preventing any breakthroughs.
Stay vigilant and keep this family in your thoughts. Hoping for a resolution ?
