Aarshiya Patil, a 3-year-old girl, was last seen on December 24, 2010, in Thornton, Colorado, along with her 1-year-old sister, Jiaa. Authorities believe that Aarshiya and her sister were abducted by their non-custodial mother, Ritu Hemchandra Desai. It is suspected that Desai took the children to Pune, India, where they are believed to remain. Despite multiple efforts, their exact whereabouts remain unknown, and their case is classified as a family abduction.
